Summer 2011: Aphrodite Aphrodite, archetype and ancient Greek goddess of love(and sexuality), creativity (in many forms), and beauty(in humans, animals and nature) will be our focus on Tuesdays, Aug. 9th to Sept. 13th, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Aspects of Aphrodite's myth will be discussed and how they can be translated into contemporary terms w/ meaning in our modern lives. I will give writing prompts for each aspect and you may then share your writing with the class--or not, as you choose. I hope you will attend. Summer seems like the perfect season to open to the energy of Aphrodite and the golden apples of her garden. Location: University District.
