Sep. 9, 2005 Dedication of Katherine's Place,Women's Shelter, south Seattle. Pesha reads her poetry.
Sep. 19 Pesha meets with Nick Licata and City Council.
Sep. 28 Pesha reads poetry and gives a Memoir Workshop at Emerald Heights Retirement Center, Redmond, WA.
Oct. 13 Yom Kippur GLBT havurah. Pesha reads poetry and hands out bookmarks with poems by Pesha and artwork by Rebecca Green and Leslie Shinsato.
Nov. 19 Pesha is "Surprise guest poet:" at "My dinner with Sam Hamill" event at Fare Start Restaurant, 1902 2nd Av.S (sponsored by P &W, WA State Poets Association, fundraiser for Burning Word). Intro by Nick Licata; Pesha reads her poems.
Dec. 2 Poet Populist reading at North Seattle Community College, featuring Chrysta Bell, Poet Populist nominee, Nancy Dahlberg, Poet Populist runnier-up and Pesha, Poet Populist.
Dec. 16 Pesha reads her poems with Scott Galasso and Jed Meyers in the "Take a Poem from your Heart" series in Columbia City at Bookworm Exchange.
Jan. 9, 2006 Pesha reads poems at the reception after the swearing-in ceremony at City Hall for the Mayor and City Council members.
Jan. 20 Poet Populist reading at 3rd Place Books, N.E. Ravenna. Pesha reads with students, Margie McCarty, Shelley Minden, Peggy Sturdivant (and Irit Weisel, unable to attend but Pesha read one of Irit's poems in honor of the late Rucy Mindel, a former student, to whom the reading was dedicated).
Feb. 12 "Living with Intention and Imagination" at Antioch College. Keynote speaker, Gloria Burgess.  Pesha read poems and led an afternoon poetry workshop.
Feb. 17 North Seattle Community College Reading Series. Pesha reads her poems with Creative Writing instructor colleagues, Deborah Green, Tracy Heinlein, and Molly Tenenbaum.
Feb. 23-26 Annual Women of Wisdom Conference. Barbara Marx Hubbard, internationally renowned author and
futurist, keynote speaker. Pesha, as Poet Populist, coordinated a Poetry Wall. She read a poem during a closing ritual led by Gloria Burgess.
Mar. 7 KUOW. 9 a.m. In honor of International Women's Day, Pesha is interviewed by Steve Scher along with Erica Mills, Strategic Advisor for the Initiative for Global Development for Global Partnerships, and Suzanne Hakam, former president of the Society of Women Engineers-Pacific NW section.
Mar. 7 Women in Science Conference in North Seattle. Pesha reads poetry and leads a creative writing workshop.
Date TBA Pesha will give a poetry reading and lead a creative writing workshop at WROC (Welfare Rights Organizing Coalition).
Apr. 19 Providence Mt. St. Vincent Assisted Living. Pesha will read her poetry and lead a creative writing workshop. The coordinator is Chris Bravmann-Bevens, MFA in Poetics, Naropa.
Apr. 29 Celebration of Pesha's one-year term as Poet Populist. Central Library, Seattle, 3-4:30 p.m. One of Pesha's poems will be "Sarah and Hagar" which she presented in Israel and Palestine. Esther Sugai, flautist and Simone la Drumma, will accompany her. Guest poets are Judith Roche, J.T. Stewart, and Koon Woon.
May 10 The April 29th Poet Populist Celebration televised on Seattle Channel 21.
May 13 Poet Populist reading at Epilogue Books with Pesha and Poet Populist nominees, Irene Drennan, Poet and Paul Hunter.
May 18 Literary Festival at Columbia Basin College, Pasco,WA. Pesha will read her poetry with Dorianne Laux and Joseph Millar.
May 30 UW Choral Singers, directed by Dr. Geoffrey Boers, UW Choral Director, will present Elizabeth Alexander's musical version of Pesha's poem, "The Healing Time" (musical version re-named with first line of poem, "Finally on my way to Yes"). Meany Hall, 7:30 p.m.
